Leaving from the plateau de la Verrerie in Saint-Nicolas-des-Biefs or from the Loge des Gardes, this itinerary will take you into the vast Assise state forest, but will also take you through the magnificent and atypical Verrerie heather fields.
For the lucky ones, the Alps can be seen on a clear day from the Roc du Vacher orientation table. Don't forget to stop for a short break at the peat bog, home to Droseras, rare carnivorous plants!
