Ferrières is a commune nestled in the Sichon valley, with houses next to its castle. The castles of Chappes and Montgilbert will also stand before you.

Built around 1250, the Château de Montgilbert is now benefiting from a major restoration project carried out by an association. After the Hundred Years' War, the fortress was owned by Rodrigue de Villandrando, a Spanish mercenary with a reputation for cruelty.
